Opera in Cinema fall series set to show at Rave Motion Pictures …season kicks off with free showing on Sept. 10

LAS VEGAS (August 28, 2009) - Opera and ballet are back at Rave Motion Pictures at Town Square this fall as the theater joins with Emerging Pictures to present world-class cultural programming.  Emerging Pictures has grown into a distribution, marketing and exhibition company through its network of theaters, Emerging Cinemas, bringing first-run art house cinema, opera and ballet worldwide. 

The Opera in Cinema fall series kicks off with a free showing on Thursday, September 10, at 7 p.m. of Zeffirelli’s production of Verdi’s Aida from La Scala di Milano.

The season continues with the best in European opera and ballet and special presentations presented in crystal-clear hi-definition. Also, performances from Russia’s legendary Mariinsky Ballet Company (formerly Kirov) will be part of the series with the two classics Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake and The Nutcracker. Ticket prices are $20. Rave Motion Pictures is located at Town Square, 6605 Las Vegas Blvd.
